Aug. 24 (Bloomberg) -- Daniel Mahoney, chief executive officer of Renesas Electronics America Inc., talks about the recovery of manufacturing in Japan after the devastating earthquake and tsunami in March.
The company's parent firm, Renesas Electronics Corp., said that it expects to resume semiconductor shipments from its factory in Ibaraki Prefecture at pre-disaster levels by mid-September. Renesas accounts for about 40 percent of the global market for microcontrollers for automobiles. Mahoney speaks with Pimm Fox on Bloomberg Television's "Taking Stock." (Source: Bloomberg)
