Wal-Mart Shoppers and Ratings Downgrade Play

Aug. 3 (Bloomberg) -- Daniel Binder, an analyst at Jefferies & Co., talks about the decline in customers shopping at Wal-Mart Stores Inc.’s U.S. locations. Visits to stores open at least a year dropped 2.6 percent from February through June, according to an internal memo, while rivals are attracting customers. Binder, speaking with Mark Crumpton on Bloomberg Television's "Bottom Line," cut his rating on Wal-Mart shares yesterday to "hold" from "buy." (Source: Bloomberg)
