April 6 (Bloomberg) -- Douglas Holtz-Eakin, president of the American Action Forum, a non-profit group that favors smaller government, and a former director of the Congressional Budget Office, talks about the likelihood of a federal government shutdown if agreement isn't reached on a 2011 spending compromise, and Representative Paul Ryan’s budget proposal for fiscal 2012 that would cut federal spending by $6 trillion over the next decade and end traditional Medicare for future generations.
