Britney, Paris, and Web 2.0 Demos

I’m at the TechCrunch40 conference in San Francisco this morning, and the third of only the first five startups demonstrating their new services is doing so with references to Britney Spears. Paris Hilton also has a starring role. Don’t these guys—actually, they’re not all guys—realize we want to look at more than trashy women on the Web?
