Most cell phone charms — little sparkling shoes, stars, action figures — just sit there looking charming. Now, lava lamp maker Mathmos has developed a cell phone charm that actually does something useful: The little charm, which can look like a light bulb or a tiny lava lamp replica, blinks red, blue or white when you receive an incoming call. That can come in handy when you don’t want your phone to ring or to vibrate — but want to be notified of incoming calls. A cool idea.
