MediaFlo TV Programming: Oldies
Posted by: Olga Kharif on April 10, 2007
I am trialing Qualcomm’s MediaFlo service, broadcasting TV channels onto cell phones. What I find interesting about the programming line-up is, most of the shows being broadcast today had actually already run in prime time, on regular TV channels, yesterday.
For me, that raises questions about why people would want to watch MediaFlo. Most Americans already pay for cable or satellite TV packages. If you’ve already watched all programs you wanted to watch last night, on your home TV, why would you want to pay extra to see them again today, on your MediaFlo phone?
I’d love to hear back from people who use the MediaFlo service. How do you like the programming? How do you like the service? How and when do you use it? What do you wish the programming was like?
