Clearwire IPO: Not As Hot?

Posted by: Olga Kharif on March 6, 2007

Clearwire, the WiMax service provider headed by wireless legend Craig McCaw, is expected to go public this week. So, what do investors think of the offering?

I’ve found it interesting to watch changes in investor sentiment as reflected in a poll on IPOhome.com. Last week, participants have agreed that Clearwire was the hottest IPO since sliced bread. But today, the poll shows a bit of a chill in the air. Personally, I am not surprised: I definitely see this company as a risky investment, because of some arguments outlined in this story.
