VC Paul Kedrosky wonders if we’ve just hit the trough of tech IPOs, and are likely to see a surprise return of the Valley’s financial elixir. I’m not sure it’s going to be many of those Web 2.0 companies surviving on Google AdWords (hope not!), and his theory about the driver being demand for IPOs, vs. supply of likely candidates, sounds a little scary. But y’know, when everybody agrees on something—and today it’s that IPOs don’t have a chance—the smart bet is often the contrarian one.
