Boning Up for the Jobs Keynote: BW's Apple Special Report

If you’re looking to put Steve Jobs’ imminent keynote at Macworld into perspective ahead of time, check out our Apple special report. Clayton Christensen makes some very interesting points about Apple’s challenges in a Q&A with our Peter Burrows. I’m not sure I would agree that we’re all that near the point where standards are about to reduce the digital home entertainment business to a commodity industry that leaves Apple in the dust. For all the new talk of convergence coming out of the Consumer Electronics Show, it’s still a mess trying to make all these devices and software work together. I think we’ve got a few years before it shakes out.
