Tiny Bubbles...

Posted by: Rob Hof on December 17, 2005

Mike Arrington also wonders if there’s a bubble brewing after all in the land of Web 2.0. His latest red flag is stupid parties:

“I was invited, and drove 25 miles to get there. The door person said I wasn’t on the list. I called someone inside the party to see if I could get in. A very large bouncer got right in my face and “asked” me to leave the area since I wasn’t on the list. I looked around and saw at least a dozen people trying to get in, to the free alcohol.”

Maybe that’s their exit strategy: Throw a party, but let in only people from Google and Yahoo.

Bubble? Is there really any question? I pass Techcrunch by these days as there are just too many look-alikes to care. Reminds me of pet stores in Bubble-1. Will let it shake out and see who/what survives.

even with those constraints, it could still be a very big party, and they'd probably have to buy lots of expensive booze.
