Quickie Reader Survey: Have you used "Bill Me Later?"
Posted by: Peter Burrows on December 29
Hi, folks. I’m trying to determine the popularity of the “Bill Me Later” payment option that is popping up on e-commerce sites such as Wal-Mart, Priceline and Continental Airlines. The idea behind this approach is that if you don’t like to enter your credit card on websites or simply don’t have it handy, you can still make your purchase by entering only a minimum of info (just your date of birth, and the last four digits of your social security number). You get the bill either via the mail, or in your inbox if you so choose, and can then pay it as you like.
So did you consider this payment option during your Christmas shopping this year? Did you take it? Why or why not? And if you have tried Bill Me Later, do you think it’s a good experience—one that you’ll use in your future shopping where and when its available?
