Sky Dayton's New Flight Plan

Sky Dayton paid a visit to our offices last week. He’s now the CEO SK EarthLink, a joint venture between EarthLink and SK Telecom, a Korean wireless player, that plans early next year to launch in the U.S. the kinds of wireless services common in Korea.
Here’s the interview he did with BW, though I still don’t understand what the appeal would be, except to a very niche market.
Would you sign up for a special service to get these services or would you simply take the kind of services that are being offered by your cell phone carrier? It sounds like a case of an entreprenuer thinking that the kinds of cutting-edge services that they want are the ones that the rest of the mass market will want.
