Overcoming Blog Overload
Posted by: Rob Hof on April 22
Now that I’m fully plugged into an embarrassing number of blogs, I’ve hit blog overload. I fear I soon will have to give up little extras like eating and sleeping to keep track of all my feeds. So lately, I’ve been experimenting with some new methods to more efficiently filter them, such as Rojo, which just launched the other day. Since I haven’t dug into the tagging features, I’m not yet sure that’s entirely going to do the trick yet. But I’m intrigued by something Technorati CEO Dave Sifry said yesterday at an AlwaysOn breakfast panel: He suggested that tagging could help the 9 million blogs his company tracks act as a “humongous filter” to pluck out the most on-target feeds for you. Bring it on!
