Hostway survey on blogging shows generation gap

Closing stories today, so not much time for a leisurely link-filled post. But take a look at the latest survey
on blogging by Hostway, a Web hosting provider. One interesting point is that young people (under 30) are far more likely to agree that bloggers should benefit from journalists’ First Amendment privileges.
I guess it’s no surprise. But I figure these arguments will eventually cease, as traditional journalism and bloggers find common ground. In the end, the differences will be between reliable and unreliable providers of news. The technology they use won’t matter.
