Blogging asbestos

Posted by: Stephen Baker on February 23, 2005

It made a big splash in the blog world earlier this month when Portland, Or., blogger Michael Buffington launched his asbestos site. Buffington’s idea? He figured that asbestos was one of the most valuable keywords in Google. By launching this site, he hoped to land Google ads and cash in on some of those clicks. Three weeks later, Buffington says he’s getting traffic on the new asbestos blog. And lots of bloggers are e-mailing him, asking for tips on how to set up similar sites. Buffington won’t know how much this asbestos venture will pay until he gets his first Google check in a couple of months. Meantime, he says he’s learning lots about asbestos.
