My Contribution to Black Friday

Posted by: Michael Mandel on November 23

I’m about to go out to Bed, Bath, and Beyond to buy a new shower curtain. I will check out the stores to see who is out shopping today. But I will restrain myself from making any bigger purchases.

I too refrained from most purchases today - most shopping is complete thanks to the wonders of catalog merchants like eddie bauer, lands' end and L.L. Bean. Today I did get sucked in by one purchase though... Rite Aid had all designer fragrances at 50% off. 50%! So that $42.00 bottle for the significant other was only $21.00. THAT is nuts.. a good deal for me by far, but wow... Is this really how desperate merchants are to get me to buy?

Thank you for your interest. This blog is no longer active.
