Just came back from London where I was attending the Business Journalist of the Year Awards. I had a fun time—I got to dress up in a tux, exchange stories with my tablemates (Gillian Tett and Tim Harford of the FT, and Edward Hadas and Simon Nixon of BreakingViews.com), and best of all I was named “Best Economics Journalist.” Not bad for a two day trip.
Michael Mandel, BW's award-winning chief economist, provides his unique perspective on the hot economic issues of the day. From globalization to the future of work to the ups and downs of the financial markets, Mandel-named 2006 economic journalist of the year by the World Leadership Forum-offers cutting edge analysis and commentary.
