Stella Artois Shows Good Storytelling: Too Bad it's a Euro Ad We Don't Get Here.

Posted by: David Kiley on June 10

Stella Artois ad from London agency Mother:

Casting dead on. The guy in the suit who makes the paper boat…ugh. Impossibly metro-sexual. And the pirate ship thing works for me because pirates, despite the whole Indian Ocean thing with real pirates these days, are kind of happening. Arrrghhhh!

What it really shows is how European ad agencies and clients know how to tell brand stories with ads in a way that still eludes most U.S. clients and agencies.

Love the ad. Embodied Stella as a brand perfectly.
