Macy’s strategy of pushing celebrity licensed products may set it apart from other dept. stores, but there is something awfully vapid about the whole thing.

How successful are Trump’s ties anyway? All that over-priced celebrity-ware makes me wonder…are there any values at all at Macy’s”

I actually think this is a really smart campaign. Macys already has a strong foothold with shoppers looking for good deals, so now they're focusing on consumers looking for higher end products. I don't think that it takes away from the other lines they sell in their stores.
