IAG Research reports that Super Bowl viewers rated the NFL ad “Mr. Oboe” best in game. No surprise to me. Burt Helm and I rated this spot in our top five picks. Ultimately, we chose the Coke parade float ad the best. But this is a good choice as well.
IAG’s research is based on actual audience viewing and recall, not dumb critics like us.
It backs up my contention that the best ads, and the best brand content, tell stories. Tell a good story, and people will engage.
