Youth overwhelmingly turned out for Barack Obama in Iowa last night. Looking at the candidates’ facebook pages, it’s astonishingly lopsided. Not that all facebook members are below 30, but it does skew that way. Obama has 182,000 Facebook supporters, compared with 57,000 for Hillary Clinton. John Edwards, who bested Clinton by a whisker, has 29,000 FB supporters.
On the GOP side, Mike Huckabee, who won the Iowa caucus, has 26,000 supporters. Rudy Giuliani has about 15,000 supporters. Mitt Romney has 24,000 supporters, and Fred Thompson has 18,000 FB supporters.
