Dear Foot Locker: Why Waste Your Money? And Now I'm Ticked.

Dear Foot Locker:

I am on the national Do Not Call list. But lo and behold, I answered my phone this morning and was greeted by a recorded voice, saying: “Don’t hang up…This if Foot Locker.”

Guess what. I hung up before he went any further. I’m done with you. There are lots of places to buy sneakers who don’t tick me off.

I agree. With the number of choices available to the consumer, I wonder how often telemarketing actually hurts a company by driving away business?
