Brand Marketers should watch Colbert

This man is brilliant at amusing and engaging his fans in ways that are new, surprising, and yet totally in keeping with his persona. The latest: a Colbert brand of ice cream from Ben & Jerry’s, announced yesterday.

This brand extension — equal parts irony, humor, and ego — is oddly perfect. Actually, makes me wonder if Bill O’Reilly secretly wishes he had an ice cream brand himself.

True if anyone needs a sense of humour it's advertisers. They should watch the Colbert Report.
