It felt funny writing a letter to the editor, which is such a careful and stilted process, when it’s so much easier to blog. But I try not to blog much about politics. So after reading a David Brooks column about Rudy Giuliani in the Saturday Times, I sat down as my parents did to their dying days, and wrote a short letter. It appeared yesterday (after I assured them in an email that I was indeed the person in NJ who wrote it, that I didn’t spam it to other pubs, and that the letter had nothing to do with my job.)
did you email it? or did you hand write it with an ink pen on your personal stationary, stick a stamp on it and drop it in a mailbox?
