YouTube Keeps Going and Going.

According to Hitwise, YouTube’s marketshare of visits increased 160% over the past three months, keeping it well ahead of MySpace Videos. Overall, the marketshare of the top 10 most trafficked sites increased 164% over the same time period. MySpace videos, Grouper and Daily Motion were rapidly growing sites.

I added some more perspective to this story on my blog - when looking at page views to YouTube versus its competitors, its share jumps to 54%.

I think part of youtube.com success is that it works technically really smooth, you don't need to wait videos to download or any other hassle, it's really simple to use and sharing videos has made so easy.
