My editor, who is a big soccer fan, suggested the subject for this week’s BW Cutting Edge podcast: the World Soccer Daily podcast. I hadn’t heard of them before, but turns out he’s onto something. Soccer Daily is the second most popular podcast online.
I spoke with Steve Cohen about how he and his co-host, who have a show on satellite radio, started up the podcast because of popular demand. He also explains that he thinks that podcasts work best as an adjunct to existing media properties such as radio or TV shows

In Blogspotting Senior Writer Stephen Baker and Associate Editor Heather Green take a look at how cutting-edge technologies are changing business and society. Whether its blogs or wikis, data crunching or data targeting, technology’s advances are reshaping the world that we live in.
