Is star-studded Google turning into the New York Yankees of tech?

Like it or not, seems virtually anything worth attaining, maintaining, and keeping in the world of business (and in life, as well) is going to involve going up against some type of competition. And, we all know, that competition could also come from a major player within one’s own team. The heavier the competition, the more egos may get bruised or altogether squashed. The heavier the competition, the harder toes get stepped - (no, scratch that), the harder toes get stomped on. And check this: combatants on the playing field changed their wingtips for steel-toed combat boots. (steel-toed to hurt one’s competition even more with a stab-like-kick to less meaty, lower portion of the legs just below the knees – OUCH !!!!) The world’s competitive like that.

i know you are using a yankees-as-dysfunction metaphor just to bait me. 26 world series championships. 39 american league pennants. on a team like that, egos get crushed, toes get stepped on. they don't win every year. but it's hard to argue with that kind of success. only 6 days, 22 hours until spring training.

schadenfreudisch, don't take it from me: try asking none other than George Steinbrenner if he's satisfied with the Yankee's performance over the last five years. Actually, now that I think about it, the Yankees haven't won all the marbles since the rise of Google. Could there be a connection?

My best team of MLB is The New York Yankees . This why I always fallow their games especially whenever I have some time. I’m always trying not o miss any of their game and hear about the team’s news. But The New York Yankees tickets get more pricy especially when there are some hot games. But, if we’re really good fans we should try not to be mean when we’re talking about a favourite teams. It’s not only the Yankees tickets that got pricy, but there are other major teams too, so the team needs our support and we should provide as much as we can.
