McDonald’s is turning into a trailblazer for corporate blogging. Check out this new corporate responsibility blog. (Thanks Alan Nelson) But that’s just a piece of a far broader strategy. The company is also distributing blogs to employees, and eventually to customers. The plan: to harvest information from the broad Mickie D’s community. This way, they can learn about, say, the most popular sandwiches in Orlando or a dirty bathroom in a Portland franchise. And of course, they can also use the same blogs for targeted marketing.
I learned this from Robin Hopper, ceo of iUpload, the Toronto company that hosts corporate blogs for McDonald’s and other companies. He says that McDonald’s blog initiative will turn even health inspections into an open-source initiative.
ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS ON THE LOOSE AT MCDONALDS
Recently I made a valid complaint to McDonalds customer services dept. about McDonalds poor standards at thier Harben Parade branch at Swiss Cottage, London NW3. The complaint concerned slow service, abrasive attitudes, and matters about unacceptable hygeine standards.
The complaint was passed on to the store by customer services, following which the store's manager, Bakry, promptly banned me from the store. He did not deny that my complaint was valid, but was told that I was banned simply becauseI I had made the complaint in the first place. Their management team consists entirely of immigrants, having come here on dodgy visas and the like, and all of which in favour of my unjust ban, which shows how much we are now under the control of illegal immigrants.
Perhaps this is consistent with McDonalds training practices. It would appear that you have to accept their adverse practices without question or suffer the consequences, as I myself did.
first i had very difficult time finding a place to file a complaint. second i am alergic to cheese, i order hambergers or fish sandwiches without chese and stil get chese on my order, isn't there anyon in te restaurants that understands that a hamberger is not same as chese burger. any berger that has chese should be so listed
