Henry Blodget, the fallen dotcom analyst, has surfaced as a blogger (from B2blog), Internet Outsider. He’s written a report on why Microsoft won’t vanquish Google. I think that’s conventional wisdom by this point. I’d be interested in reading a contrarian story on why Microsoft will come out on top.
Microsoft could put Google out of business, IF Gates and Ballmer would all of a sudden wake up and follow my suggestion to build a database consisting of submissions from individuals and companies that wish their pages published.
Users would then consult the database and eliminate the middle man doing all the searching. And, if I'm lucky they might consider buying my database application.
In Blogspotting Senior Writer Stephen Baker and Associate Editor Heather Green take a look at how cutting-edge technologies are changing business and society. Whether its blogs or wikis, data crunching or data targeting, technology’s advances are reshaping the world that we live in.
