BW's Nussbaum launches design and innnovation blog

Bruce Nussbaum, who wrote the BW special report on design, has just launched a blog, NussbaumOnDesign. He asks in one of his first posts if blogs are the “new unions.”

Are blogs a new countervailing force within corporations battling bureaucracy, hierarchy, lethargy and entropy?

I think Bruce and I agree about blogs, but maybe not about unions. I don’t see unions battling bureaucracy and hierarchy as much as winning a place within the power structure. The most powerful blogs are usually outside it.
