Here’s a graph of the Technorati lag time in processing search queries on “New York.” I just tried it myself. Took 10.6 seconds. The first post, just to sample the serendipity of the blogosphere, features this wonderful shot of Brooklyn Bridge.

Thanks for keeping us on our toes. Things have been pretty crazy over here over the last few weeks.
We took all the feedback that you and others have been giving us of late, and sat down and got to work.
And tonight, we rolled out a raft of bug fixes and performance enhancements that should help most, if not all of the Cosmos (URL) searches you do on Technorati. It will also help with the speed of all searches across the site.
