California: IT Pot of Gold


The Golden State will stay at the top of the IT-spending pack at least through the end of the decade, according to researcher IDC. And California—home to many of tech's titans—will only widen that gap with the next-biggest spender, New York. While Texas outranks New York by population and size, the Empire State outspends the Lone Star state when it comes to IT.
