Hewlett-Packard Dominates the Desktop


Computer giant Hewlett-Packard's Presario leads the pack in desktop computer sales through retail stores, with nearly twice the market share of Gateway's eMachines T4010. Knocked off the list of top-10 best-selling desktops this month is any trace of the Sony Vaio desktops, which retained a place in the middle of the pack until last spring. Because Dell models are only sold by mail-order, they are not included in the data.
