Blog Readership Flat

An update to a report from the Pew Internet & American Life Project found that the number of Americans who read blogs remained steady at 32 million from November 2004 until March 2005. That's a slowdown from the last six months, which saw a 58% increase in blog readership. However, the number of Americans who created blogs rose to 9% of Internet users, up from 7%. And blogging is still more popular with the younger set: 36% of Web users, aged 18-29, say they have read blogs, compared to only 18% over 50.
