VoIP Rings Up Subscribers


After a few years of slow growth, Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) is about to hit the accelerator pedal. The use of the technology, which allows consumers to make telephone calls over the Internet, is skyrocketing. That is being sparked by an ever-increasing number of service providers who tout VoIP as the cheaper alternative to traditional calling.
