Charles Arthur over at The Guardian in the UK has done a nice job digging into the documented history, such as it is, of this Miami-based oddball little concern Psystar. Though the Internet domain name has been registered since 2000, nothing appears about the company until recently. During the time he was researching, the place appeared to change locations on Google maps.
I called Psystar yesterday and as happened with Arthur, was told to send an email to press@psystar.com and that I would get a response “within five or ten minutes.” Still waiting. So is Arthur.
One of his commenters links to this entry for Pystar with the Florida Secretary of State’s office which is less than a year old. My guess is that Apple’s lawyers have found this document by now as well.
Heard a lot about it but still yet to understand the real things about it.
