TechCrunch today relates the tale of TV personality and MacBook Air owner Charlie Rose and how he received the black eye: He tripped on a Manhattan street while carrying his prized new notebook, and mid-fall decided to protect it, instead of his face. That’s one dedicated Mac owner.
In any event, in surveying the archives of Rose’s interviews here it occurs to me that while he has had several notable technology guests on his show, including Bill Gates, Steve Ballmer, Sergey Brin, John Çhambers, Steve Jobs has never appeared on Charlie Rose. Maybe this is Charlie’s way of asking? There are few television journalists who I think would be sufficiently up to the task. I certainly know that I’d watch.
Steve Wozniak has been on Rose’s show, and his appearance from January of 2007 is below.
Steve Jobs has appeared in Charlie Rose because I remember him mentioning details of his total investment in and day-to-day involvement with Pixar.
