Alley Insider notes a report in The New York Observer about the site of a potential fourth Apple store in New York City, that would be right next to the Empire State Building. To me that would be a weird location, but so be it. I would have picked something on the Upper West Side convenient to students from Columbia University, and easy access from the 1 train, somewhere between 116th St. and Lincoln Center.
That is a GREAT location, in the center of the fashion epicenter. All those guys n girls use apples...
It's a good location because they're going for all of the tourist dollars they can get. Most tourists go the ESB. The Fifth Ave store is also for tourists. The meatpacking dist and SOHO stores are for us NY'ers
