There is no Googlephone. So insists Valleywag’s Owen Thomas. His source is a Foxconn exec who was overheard talking to a Google VP. Instead the Googlephone served as a useful fiction to scare its rivals, not the least of which is Microsoft, which lowered its Windows Mobile licensing fees.
