Meanwhile, DRM-Free Doesn't Mean Piracy Is Okay.....

…..Thought you were going to share your DRM-Free songs from iTunes with the nearest Torrent tracker? Nuh-uh. Guess what? Erica Sadun over at TUAW has noticed that your iTunes user account information is embedded into the song file. This means that if your DRM-free library does show up somewhere out there in the cloud where it shouldn’t, the powers that be will know where it came from. Very interesting indeed. Copy it as much as you want. Just don’t share it with the whole wide world, appears to be the message.
