Everyone here in the office is buzzing about Google’s new Street View feature on Google Maps, which shows these fascinating panoramic pictures of streets in various cities. Here’s a link to the image of The Metropolitan Museum of Art in Manhattan. It’s similar to, but better than, a feature that Amazon launched on its A9 search engine sometime back, but which I’m not unable to find now. Anyway, I’m betting that this will show up on the iPhone very very soon, because it can’t be all that much harder to adapt to the iPhone than the satellite pictures were, now can it?
Eric Schmidt's on the Apple Board, and he (and Google) are, IMHO, more aggressive and savvy than some past Board members-- the Intuit guy, Campbell (a one product company) and Larry Ellison (Oracle, also one product, essentially)
mac ias doing great great job ..iphone well marvelous.itunes worldover..bang.. now google and mac..wow.
I don't consider myself an Apple "fanboy", and find myself a critical technology user.
But if anyone wants to know about the loyalty to Steve Jobs and Apple, I have a question.
Why don't other companies and management listen to consumers, bring us great products that let us use technology, make it easy, and give the same sense of personal empowerment?
