It just occurred to me that there’s yet another Google-Apple connection that I didn’t mention in the long list of interconnections between the two companies in today’s column. I was just looking again at a few bios of Google directors, and found that Ann Mather was from 1999 to 2004 an executive vice president at Steve Jobs’ other compay Pixar, which as we all know is now a unit of The Walt Disney Company after it acquired Pixar, and made Jobs its biggest shareholder and a director. Before Pixar, Mather worked at Disney, and Paramount before that. Interesting, no?
Nothing all that interesting. Just goes to show that smart people work at smart companies. Haha just kidding. Thanks for bringing it up.
