Every time I think that Audio Hijack Pro can’t get any better, the guys at Rogue Amoeba prove me wrong. This app, is, in my opinion, one of the very best applications running on the Mac at this moment. For those unaware, this is a sound recording app, that takes pretty much any sound coming in to your Mac, whether a live streaming radio feed, systems sounds, or the sounds piped in from an external source like a microphone, and records it to almost any format you may want to use it in later, most notably, the always-flexible MP3. So today’s news on this front is that the app now lets you record calls made on Skype, voice chats from iChat. I’ve also noticed that it has recently added support for Griffin’s Radio Shark, which has also come in handy recently.
