iRadio Remote: Official Word

The press release on the new iPod accessory has hit the wires: It describes the product as combining “the convenience of wired remote control with new FM radio capabilities for the iPod nano and fifth generation iPod.” It will also let you adjust the volume on the iPod when its in a pocket, and let you tune in FM radio stations. The iPod screen will display station and song information. No picture as yet, but the press release can be found here.

I think this is a great move. The FM option has been lacking imho.

What about AM? Yes, people still listen to AM for news, sports, etc.
