Guests Ankur Kumar, deputy director of MBA admissions at Wharton, and second-year student John Ross will be fielding your questions about everything from acing the admissions interview to choosing the right recommenders. Kumar has deep connections to University of Pennsylvania and Wharton. She received her BS in finance from Wharton and her BA in economics from the College of Arts & Sciences and returned for her MBA in strategic management and human resources and organizational management. Before joining MBA admissions, Kumar worked in investment banking, finance, and strategy consulting in New York. Ross received his BS in finance with a minor in Japanese from Penn State in 2005. He is currently sponsored by the Navy and serves as a submarine officer, a career to which he will return after graduation. At Wharton, Ross is heavily involved in admissions, serving as both an admissions fellow and interviewer and as a co-chair of the Volunteer Admissions Committee.
