There’s a great discussion going on over at the blog 43Folders—worth a read for anyone trying to tame the crackberry beast—about what companies are doing to help fight email overload. The discussion centers on whether programs like “No Email Fridays” will actually work. Will such a program actually help curb email use? Or simply shove the work to Saturdays? Or make people think they’re working for a paternalistic organization that’s trying to fix one problem with “made-up rules of social engineering,” as 43Folders blogger Merlin Mann calls them. What do you think? Do No-Email Fridays help or hurt?
