One of the gripes about Gen Y (yes, there are a lot, and yes, many of them may be unfair) is that they don’t dress appropriately for work. Here’s a post from Evil HR Lady about someone in her 20s who’s getting dressed down for dressing up at work. And my coworker Michelle Conlin recently blogged on Management IQ about the short-lived joy of dressing down until she started getting nervous about wearing shorts (very fashionable, appropriate ones, just for the record) to work. How important is what we wear to work? Do you notice a generational divide where you work in how people dress?
