I got a copy of the new magazine edition of Green Guide last week and really enjoyed it. Somehow, even in a crowded area, it seems to have figured out a niche that works. It’s practical, well designed, and fun. It’s part Consumer Reports for green consumers, rather than InStyle. But it also has a mix of entertaining stories, such as a day in the life of a recycled bag. None of it seems fluffy and though it doesn’t seem to encourage you to buy for buying’s sake.
Now, of course, the newsletter and online edition has been around for years, and those were great and still are. But it’s a great time to have this kind of very no nonsense magazine.
