For months and months, I’ve been tied down with the oldest of old media projects, a book and a magazine piece. With all the secrecy and meetings and editing, I might as well be working in the 19th century.
During this whole process, I’ve been looking at all these Web 2.0 eruptions. Twitter, Facebook, video. And I’ve been saying to myself, I’ll get to it, I’ll get to it, just as soon as I emerge from my Henry James period.
Well, here I come. The big projects are winding up. I don’t know exactly where to start. Maybe I’ll work on the Blog cover wiki. I’ll learn about video. (Scott Karp seems a little down on Twitter). In any case, I look forward to rejoining this century. And I’m open to all recommendations on how and where to begin.
