Baby carriages, Red Sox

Trivia.

Have you noticed that baby carriages are huge these days? As a father who hasn’t wheeled one around for nearly 14 years, I’m stunned by their girth. They have wheels the size of beach balls. I bet they’re safe. For all I know, they have side-impact air bags. They jam up the aisles at Starbucks like SUVs.

Hey Red Sox fans. Many of us used to love your team. And now that they’re fabulous, they’re a lot less fun. You may find that it’s lonely at the top. I never thought I’d say this, but I may end up pulling next year for those underdog Yankees.

I traveled across the country today, first to Seattle, and then down to San Jose. I’ll be out on this coast for the next week. Strange to say, but I hate to miss the most beautiful foliage season in New Jersey.
